Majority of those who suffer from a mental health condition had their first onset in their twenties. According to the Singapore Mental Health Study 2010, Major Depressive Disorder, Alcohol Abuse and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder were found to be the top three most common mental health conditions in Singapore. Mental health conditions are common but help is available.

MHFA International is an Australian not-for-profit organisation focused on mental health training and research. MHFA courses are delivered across Australia and internationally.
MHFA is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. The first aid is given until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.
