Tokyo, 28 Feb 2024 — With the increasing awareness and demand for accessible mental wellbeing services in Japan, Intellect, APAC’s largest and fastest growing mental health tech company, has announced its expansion of a dedicated data centre in Japan, expanding on its existing centre in Singapore.

The company has also expanded its services to support newly onboarded clients such as MK Co., Ltd., which amounts to an estimated 6,500+ Intellect users in Japan alone. This growth in demand has driven Intellect to enhance its global infrastructure and service to businesses and individuals in the country.

The new data centre, located in Tokyo, adheres to the highest industry standards for personal information protection.

Intellect aims to provide users in Japan with faster and more reliable access to its suite of services, ranging from the self-care programmes based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, holistic coaching services, clinical counselling telehealth services, and a 24/7 localised helpline, among others.

“We are excited to announce the launch of our newest data centre in Japan,” said Naoyuki Gokaku, Head of Revenue at Intellect Japan. “As part of our continued dedication to support the growing demand for mental wellbeing to be accessible in the country, we believe it’s important to provide dedicated service, security, and privacy for our users. Through this new investment, we hope that businesses and individuals alike would feel more confident in using Intellect’s suite of services.”

The launch of this data centre in Japan is a significant step forward for Intellect as it continues to expand its global presence and deliver continued support to its users in the region. Individuals looking to try the service can do so for free by downloading the Intellect app via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
