Managers are employees, too. This truth may sound obvious, but it’s overlooked enough that mid-level managers are being asked to do more than ever before—experiencing more stress, anxiety, and burnout than other employees—which can lead to a dangerous domino effect. In most cases, managers work experiences are nowhere near as positive as those of their individually contributing colleagues.
