Although Schroders employees experienced higher levels of stress and mental burden during the pandemic, usage of their Employee Assistance Program remained low.The company needed a more engaging, proactive, and scalable solution that would be localised and culturally relevant to employees across APAC.
The Solution
Intellect’s proactive and preventive offerings shifted perceptions that mental healthcare is an on-demand service reserved for at-risk cases. Ditching the traditional “one-size-fits-all” approach, Intellect connected about 1,000 Schroders employees to personalised support ranging from a self-care app to coaching sessions.
Results
In the span of 8 months, 28% of Schroders employees have adopted the Intellect app.
18% of active users have matched with a coach.
Schroders has decided to expand coverage from 5 to 8 markets (including China, Japan, and S Korea).
